TOURING FIRENZE

From past experience in other cities one of the best ways to see the sights is from a "Hop On, Hop Off" Bus so today we did just that. I was the smart one who sat at the front of the bus out of the cold (a bit) as it was freezing today, before being bombarded by the children who were like icicles.

The sights were bellissomo. I particularly like the Piazza de Michelangelo but not for the reason you're thinking ;) You could see miles away. Crossing the Fiume Arno was another wonder.

We practically ran home after exiting the bus into the warm where we had lunch then, I, a snooze (it's exhausting sightseeing and travelling you know ;) before Dave climbed to the top of Giotto's Bell Tower (414 steps one way).

Whilst I sat in the Piazza and waited for him and watched the world go by.
