Hello Monte Carlo, hello Monaco. We arrived (after the 3.5 hour drive) and checked into our hotel-apart, Adagio Monaco Palais Josephine before taking a quick look around.
The buildings here are beautiful, especially the Casino de Monte-Carlo, which unfortunately you aren't allowed to take photos inside.
After dinner tonight I headed to try my luck on the black jack tables but got greedy and lost the lot :( At 25 euro minimum bet it didn't take too long! The slot (poker) machines weren't much better and I came home with only a 5 euro chip as a souvenir :)
