GARDALAND PARK

It ain't Alton Towers but pretty close except some of the rides were not in operation :( We made the most of the rides that were still going strong though. As there wasn't that many people there we were able to stay on for two rides in a row. The park was decorated in a Winter Wonderland theme for the Christmas Season and the kids were more than happy to get their photo taken at many of the scenes.

The Blu Tornado was, by far, the best ride there. Dave took this pic from another ride which took us into the air for 360 degree views all around.

Jayden loved the 4D Spongebob film. Yeah, you can stop laughing now, I know we look like dorks ;)

Sofie had a crack at ice skating on an outdoor ice skating rink. She only had two fall overs and managed to stay quite dry.

The Sequoia Adventure was another upside down, inside out rollercoaster.

We've had another fun day at yet another theme park. We've done one at each major country. Photos here.

Grazie e Arrivederci Italia, Guten Tag Germany. We leaving for Frankfurt tomorrow, an 8 hour drive - yuk!

Note: The purpose of our stay here was simply to visit Gardaland but from what we've seen driving to and from we wish we had stayed here longer. It looks like a fantastic holiday destination. The lake looks glorious (not for swimming now though) and our accomodation here is just perfect.
