We successfully rode the
metropolitana into the city stop Stazione Termini where we set out on foot to find the tourist information centre. From here we jumped on an open tour bus,
Ciao Roma and took in all of the amazing sights Rome has to offer.
We exited the bus at
Citta Del Vaticano and walked the surrounds, along with thousands of others. We didn't go into the
Sistine Chapel nor
St Peter's Basilica as the line up to get in was miles long. Unfortunately The Pope was busy today and wasn't able to meet us in person ;)
Back on the bus again, off again for lunch further down the track, then back on again and exiting for the last time today at the
Colosseo. Walking the amphitheatre we were pumped and wanting to watch "Gladiator" again.
Caught the metro home again and ready for dinner.
