We had arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the hotel and transfer to Amsterdam airport at 8 am. Lucky we did, as it seems everyone was leaving Amsterdam after New Years on the same day as us. We departed at 12 pm for the first 12 hour leg to Kuala Lumpur which meant that we arrived at 12 am (Amsterdam time) only it was 6.30 am KL time meaning we missed the night. Seriously tired, after transferring to the next gate the scene was this:
From KL to Hanoi (Vietnam) was only 3.5 hours but we slept pretty much most of the way. We found our meet and greet person holding a sign saying "Karen Farley" (our brilliant travel manager) and from here were taken to our hotel, Hong Ngoc. We're all seriously wrecked with little sleep but trying to hold out, have dinner then crash, hopefully till tomorrow morning.

One of us is a little disappointed as it seems the warm coat won't be tossed out just yet :(. It's still quite chilly here at 15 degrees.
Hahahaha the best evidence of an absolutely fantastic time! I love it and I'm loving following your adventure.
