Today is market day in Uzes. Not the 'grand' markets which are held on Saturday mornings but a smaller market selling fresh produce including culinary delights such as olives, cheeses, seafood, organic fruit and veg, poultry, etc. It was a hive of activity in the
Place aux Herbes. Dave went down first, whilst I stayed home with the kidlets since one of them was still in bed (Sofie) and this was at 9 am. There's going to be a rude shock when back in Australia! He came home with some oysters (of course) and a bunch of flowers for moi. Then it was my turn but I managed to contain myself today with only some sundried tomatoes in olive oil, garlic and basil (we need to eat what we bought the other day first).

The escargots were ready for cooking, filled already with butter and garlic. Market photos
here.

After lunch we went to
Collias, specifically to
Kayak Vert Pont Du Gard, to find out details about canoeing which we've set as tomorrow's activity.

We had a play at the edge of the water. Of course, it was only a matter of time before Jayden got wet - clothes and all.
