SATURDAY MARKETS UZES

Saturday markets in Uzes are huge. There are so many people around that walking from stall to stall is single file only. You can buy just about anything there including clothing, accessories, jewellery, flowers, baskets, knives, incense, bongs (cough), and the usual cheeses, wines, olives, fruit, veg, seafood, meats (including horse) and boulangerie items (breads, crossiants, etc).

It is FREEZING here today so Dave and I left the kids at home whilst we went to do our shopping.

We had to do a trip home to drop off our purchases before heading out again to continue our browsing.

We bought breads, fruit, veg, some souvenirs to send home, prawns, tofu, again some meaty things, paella for Dave's lunch and an umbrella.

Dave bought two little pots of flowers to plant in the pots on our balcony.

And of course a trip to the markets wouldn't be complete without oysters! Big suckers too.
