SEEING IT ALL IN LONDON

The Hop On Hop Off Bus was magnificent. We got to see it all; Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Parliament Houses, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Marble Arch. We took the red route which takes in all of London's landmark attractions. We travelled almost an entire loop first up, just getting off for a quick wave to the Queen and to see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace.

It was absolutely packed with tourists and the kids were getting a little restless so we didn't stay for the whole shebang but at least we can say "been there, done that!"

We think London is absolutely beautiful. The buildings are truly stunning. Totally different from Australian cities, especially as there are no skyscrapers.

We headed back to the hotel to have some lunch and charge the camera battery before heading out for round two, Madam Tussaud's (next post).

Sightseeing photos here.
