SIEM REAP DAY ONE

What a great day in Siem Reap. With nothing officially planned today we played it by ear. After breakfast we hit poolside.

Dave and Jayden mucked around.

I caught some rays.

And Sofie relaxed and read a book.

Around 12.30 pm we took our first tuk tuk ride into town.

And headed straight for lunch at a really cool cafe where we sat lounge style.

After lunch Sofie spotted a fish spa and couldn't wait to get her feet in. The last time they had fish eating their feet was Bali back in July 2010. Jayden and I opted instead for a back, neck, shoulders and head massage.

Time for a bit of market and souvenir shopping.

We then headed to Buffalo Tours to plan the rest of our time here. We were invited our for dinner tonight and to see traditional dancing. As we arrived a bit early we had enough time for our second massage of the day, this time foot massages all round.

A shot at dinner of a loving couple.

Dinner was fabulous at the Koulen 11 Restaurant and the dancing an insight into Apsara dancing.
